Our goal is to make you feel at home and fall in the love with the lodge and return again and again. It's a handsome, rustic, sturdy home that has welcomed visitors  for over 200 years.

 We have no newspapers or tv's or special events, just peace and quiet.
The Lodge has a big fieldstone fireplace to gather around in the evening and a ton of games for a challenging good time!
We have a big  dining room with plenty of room to spread out!  The courtyard for BBQing or eating al fresco is just off our big country kitchen.
We have horses and nice groomed trails for riding or a small hike and great sledding in the winter. our property abuts 100's of acres of conservancy lands and thousands of acres of state forest. You can pick up the Famous Appalachian Trail just a couple of miles through the woods.
We are available to rent entire facility for  small - medium events.

You may bring a dog if they are well socialized and friendly.

*pet policy      please contact me directly as pets are allowed by per case basis.  this is for the enjoyment of people  and animals living here and the ones coming to visit. we try to maintain an atmosphere in which all are content.  dogs must be crate trained and owners will supply crates.  for health reasons , recent note from vet for treatment/application of tick and flea product.

we are on the edge of real wilderness and have been visited by moose , deer, porcupine, bear, bobcat, fox etc.  please bare this in mind. owners are responsible for their animals.

 pets must me socialized to dogs, horses and other humans and be able to be controlled at all times.

 happy well adjusted dogs are always a pleasure. we love to have them visit with us at the lodge.  their safe and happy experience here is important to us.

cats: we have too many people that have cat allergies and for this reason, we regret to decline cat visitors.
